I tried to look for appropriate drivers individually and found several sites like driverscape but it seems like many of these drivers just don't work and I end up in a situation that is worse than using bootcamp driver packs. I tried to force the installation of bootcamp 4 or bootcamp 5 driver packs (runing bootcamp.msi via CLI as administrator) but I always end-up with some things not working properly. However, getting my hands on the drivers is another story.
Mac air mid 2011 13 drivers for windows 7 free download install#
Installing windows per se is not a big issue since we have the install media and legitimate licenses. The macbook2,1 has a 32bits EFI and a 64bits CPU while the macbook4,1 and the macbookair2,1 are both fully 圆4 machines, AFAIK. However this path (win7 -> Win10) is unfortunately unavailable to us anymore since the free upgrade period is over and our new Win10 licenses do not allow upgrades from Win7pro. These machines were then updated to Win10pro 圆4 and still worked fine. Some of these machines were running Win7pro 圆4 fine although this was also not supported officially. I don't need OSX or any form of dual boot. When possible these machines have had their RAM maxed out and some of the white MBs even have SSDs :) Most of them are 2006 macbook2,1s but we also have a few 2008 macbook4,1s and 2009 macbookair2,1s. I need/want to install Windows10 圆4 on a few old macbooks (air) that we have at work.
